"Kickapoo Area Schools is very lucky to be located where we are. We have wonderful opportunities for people to get out and be active. One of those opportunities are the local bike trails. Having the opportunity to teach students bike safety and how to ride bikes at a young age would be a great asset to the community. We have a bike trail that leads to the school from one of our towns. Learning this skill at a young age could help students to live healthy active lifestyles. Unfortunately, though, we live in a community where not every student has the same opportunity to learn this skill. Being able to teach it as part of our curriculum would be a great opportunity for us and for the students."- PE Teacher Dustin C.
