"This would be a great opportunity for our students as many come from home settings where the family income doesn't allow the means to provide a bike much less to teach them to ride one. Learning to ride a bike at a young age increases confidence while developing balance, mobility, safety, environmental awareness, and exercise. Bissonnet Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.
