What a great program for your youngest Bobcats! Way to go, Mr. Snyder! The kids will really enjoy learning to ride at school.

About Bluemont Elementary School

"The Kindergarten PE Program will complement our bike safety program for 4th and 5th grade. The Kindergarten PE Program will allow us to get students riding sooner. Many of our students cannot ride when participating in the bike safety program at 4th and 5th grade. If we can get them riding in kindergarten, we can spend more time in 4th and 5th grade expanding and developing their biking skills. Riding a bike is a skill they can use for a lifetime, and our goal is to have all Bluemont students up and riding safely by the time they leave our school!" - PE Teacher, Scott S

Bluemont Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.
