About Dr. Henry Givens Jr. Elementary School

"The fall of 2023 will mark Dr. Henry Givens Jr. elementary school's third year as a neighborhood school. Since becoming a neighborhood school back in the fall of 2021, our enrollment is slowly increasing. A significant portion of our student population are car riders along with a few walkers. Implementing the All Kids Bike program would potentially encourage students to convince parents to allow them to bike to and from school as they mature." PE Teacher, Duane H.


Dr. Henry Givens Jr. Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
