"This is my third year teaching at Emma E. Booker Elementary School. Before I became a PE teacher here the program consisted of free time and recess. The past few years we have built the curriculum and now students are participating in interactive lessons and cross curricular activities. Our budget is 50 dollars a year to buy supplies. With this donation we would be able to teach our students how to ride bikes! This is a Title 1 school so many of our families do not have the time or finances to teach their child how to ride a bike. The family support system is not strong. If we were to receive the bikes the students would learn a skill set that would help the students be active and healthy for a lifetime. Without your help some of these students may never have a chance to ever learn how to ride a bike."-PE Teacher, Amber R.
