About Park Brook Elementary

"Park Brook Elementary is a school with a Focus on Fitness initiative to increase academic growth and positive behaviors. This initiative plays out with fitness breaks throughout the day, and before and after school fitness programs for students. Park Brook Elementary has bikes for students in the upper grades. Fifth-grade students learn how to mountain bike at the end of each year with a program through The Loppet Foundation. The balance bikes will be used with kindergarten students and possibly pre-k students towards the end of the year. Biking is a life-long skill and will enhance the PE curriculum for kindergarten students and possibly be used additionally with a before or after school program." Principal Scott T. 

Park Brook Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.
