"The All Kids bike program will make a tremendous impact on the young students in our extremely low social-economic status in our Colorado community of Walsenburg. Many or most of our students have never had the opportunity to own a bike due to family economic struggles. As I travel through town it is very sad not to see a number of students riding bikes for leisure activity, a means to get from point A to point B or for the exercise they currently greatly lack. This

program would also be a fantastic, positive event that would unite community/school relations and trust during a time in our country when a lack of trust in public education seems to be eroding that once held " positive partnership" and faith in a local school district.
