This is a great program! Strider bikes are really good exercise for little kids and very helpful in learning to ride. They will love it!

About Round Valley Elementary School
Round Valley Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including teacher training and certification, a comprehensive curriculum, a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch bike for the teacher, and program support.
Round Valley Elementary learned about the program through one of their teachers who is a friend of Brian Lopes, a 4x mountain bike world champion. Brian is an All Kids Bike national ambassador, who has helped raise funds to place the Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Program into five elementary schools in California. Brian now has his sights set on helping Round Valley Elementary in Covelo, CA receive the program.
"My journey on two wheels started at 4 years old in Mission Viejo, CA. My bike helped me build confidence, independence, and friendships. Then, I turned my hobby into a career, racing bicycles worldwide, and earned my place in the history books for both the BMX and MTB Hall of Fame. As riders, we all know the joy that riding brings us and that the younger you start, the better. Riding teaches balance, and balance is the key to everything we do in life, so why not start with learning to balance on your bicycle at a young age and the rest will all fall into place. I’m passionate about getting kids on the right track towards a healthy lifestyle and I’m committed to helping kids learn how to ride bikes in school."-- Brian Lopes
