About Woodland Star Charter School

"Waldorf Education values the importance of integrating movement into the curriculum. We want to have all our Kindergarten students riding a bikes before first grade. When children experience balance they are better prepared to engage in academic work. Our students will use the balance bikes twice a week during the morning movement. Woodland Start Charter School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch Bike for teacher instruction, and curriculum.
