"Getting balance bikes for our school will help our students get access to riding bikes. Many of our students come from low income families who can't purchase bikes or live in areas where riding bikes is difficult. Riding bikes in PE increases access. 

Having access to balance bikes will enable students to learn how to ride a bike the right way, without the need for brakes, pedals and many other parts that are barriers to becoming a good bike rider. Riding bikes in PE will help me as a teacher collaborate with the classroom teachers on the SAFETY curriculum and lesson plans associated with good health." PE Teacher, Jason W. 

a2steam Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, 1 Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
