About Alameda Elementary

"We are in an urban area and some of our students do have bikes but have no safety training and therefore we would like to provide during the school day a PE course on bicycle safety during our genius hour of instruction and exploration. We feel you have the resources to help us reach our goal by providing this opportunity to our students especially early on during their kindergarten grade level or if possible during their later stages of preschool. 

We feel strongly about gross motor development, health and physical agility of our students, and safety. The helmets along with knee pads and elbow pads would also be incorporated through our program possibly from another vendor or supporter. At present,t we have 2 kindergarten classes at capacity along with 2 preschool classes." Community School Coordinator/PE Instructor, Chris M. 

Alameda Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 25 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, 1 Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
