About Chattahoochee Hills Charter School

"At Chattahoochee Hills Charter School, we believe deeply in nurturing confident, capable, and well-rounded scholars. The All Kids Bike mission—ensuring that learning to ride a bike becomes a core part of every child’s early education—aligns beautifully with our values and with our school’s unique Tri-Focus model, which integrates Agriculture, Arts, and the Environment. The opportunity for our students to participate in the All Kids Bike Program would not only promote physical wellness but also support essential developmental skills such as balance, coordination, perseverance, and confidence building.

A bike-riding program would meaningfully enhance our experiential learning approach. As a rural, agriculture-embedded charter school, many of our hands-on lessons involve outdoor exploration, environmental understanding, and healthy lifestyle habits. Learning to ride a bike would help students make real-world connections to movement, sustainability, and independence—core components of our instructional mission.

Our students would be thrilled to take part in a program that encourages active living, builds confidence, and fosters joy. Many of our scholars do not currently have access to bicycles at home, and this initiative would provide equitable access to a childhood milestone that sparks pride and lifelong memories. With your support, we can ensure that every child—regardless of background—has the opportunity to learn this foundational skill." Khara H., Instructional Coach
