About Chugiak Elementary

"Chugiak Elementary students love getting outside to be active while exploring nature. We currently have a great biking program for 2nd-5th graders that is a two-week-long unit. The kindergarten and 1st graders want to ride the bikes, but the students are not tall enough for those bicycles. 

They are able to ride scooters during the two-week unit to increase their balance and awareness of safely riding with peers. Adding Strider bikes would greatly help our school community develop the proper balance to learn to ride bicycles at a younger age. We would love this opportunity." PE Teacher, Andrew S. 

Chugiak Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, 1 Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
