About Drew Central Elementary

"This program will greatly impact our PE program in three ways; increase student engagement, help increase our students' physical literacy, and encourage out-of-school activity in the community. By introducing Strider bikes, our students are more likely to be engaged and excited about PE and learning how to ride a bike. Bike riding also includes skills such as balance, muscular strength and endurance and focus that overlap with other skills in the PE and academic classrooms. And lastly, with the skills to ride a bike, our students are much more likely to ride the new bike trails around our local lake with their families." PE Specialist, Randi M. 


Drew Central Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
