About

"We are a small, rural district where funding isn't always available for wonderful equipment like this. Our student body could greatly benefit from this type of exercise equipment. More importantly, we do have a lot of students in our small town who ride bikes all over town and are in need of the proper learning materials at a young age to help them learn good bike control and safety. We tragically lost one of our students this past summer in an accident while he was riding a bike. It is important to me that bike use and safety becomes a main priority of ours. The range of kindergarten students fluctuates a lot in our district. It could be 6-18 depending on class sizes. I usually have PK-K students together so the whole package would be put to good use." PE Teacher, Shelby L.

Flagler School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
