About Gladstone Street School

"Gladstone Street School is a Title 1 school in Cranston, RI. The school recently was torn down and the students have been displaced into two other schools for three years so a new school can be built (2026). Many of our students do not have bikes or know how to ride bikes, so being able to teach them at a young age would be very beneficial.

Gladstone is a neighborhood school, so if the students learn how to ride bikes, they will be able to ride to school in the morning. Once our new school is built, we will have a large gymnasium where students can safely learn to ride as well as a paved outdoor area." PE Teacher, Luke S.

Gladstone Street Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 48 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, 2 Strider 20-inch bikes for teacher instruction, 4 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
