"Our school is a Title I school in a diverse area. Our students come from low-income families and rarely have the opportunity to experience much outside of their neighborhood. We service ESL (English Second Language) and deaf and hearing-impaired students as well as our regular and special education students. 

This is what makes our school unique! Most of our students do not have access to a bike to learn how to ride. Research shows that riding a bike increases brain power which in turn will help our students succeed in their academics. This program will help our Kindergarten students learn how to safely ride a bike, stay fit and healthy and have fun all at the same time." PE Teacher, Sherri C.


Hazel Park Hilda Knoff K-8 Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 30 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
