    What an amazing opportunity for young kids who may not get the opportunity elsewhere to learn to ride a bike. Way to bring in the first official year teaching PE at Kincaid by making such huge strides! You had such big shoes to fill and this has been such a joy to see. About Kincaid Elementary

"At Kincaid Elementary, we strive to provide all students with lifetime opportunities. This grant will help all of my K-2 students receive the opportunity to learn how to eventually ride a bike. These strider bikes will give students who are in both general education and special education a chance to work on their balance and learn how to ride a bike, as well as receive safety lessons on riding a bicycle around town. As students get older, our district has a bike trailer to allow students to learn how to ride a bike. Having strider bikes would be an excellent introduction to this lifetime skill." PE Teacher, Kimberly R. 

Kincaid Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, 1 Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
