About Riverside Community School District

"The All Kids Bike program will be a fantastic addition for Riverside Elementary students, offering them essential bike-riding skills that encourage healthy, active lifestyles from an early age. Learning to ride a bike helps children develop balance, coordination, and confidence, which supports their overall physical and mental growth.

The program promotes inclusivity, ensuring that all students, regardless of background or access to bikes at home, can participate in this important skill-building opportunity. Biking can also improve students’ cardiovascular health, leading to better focus and energy levels in the classroom. Additionally, All Kids Bike fosters a lifelong love for outdoor activity, promoting sustainability and environmental awareness by encouraging a clean, green mode of transport." Superintendent Stephanie A.

Riverside Community School District is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, 1 Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
