About Shelton Park Elementary School

"Shelton Park Elementary is a dedicated, learner-centered community committed to empowering its diverse student body—approximately 425 children from Early Childhood through 5th grade—to develop independence and embrace future-ready learning. Our core vision is for students to leave as compassionate, resilient, and collaborative problem solvers who think critically, communicate effectively, and apply their learning to thrive. We proudly support our unique learners through specialized programs, including Early Childhood Special Education and adaptive classrooms. We serve a population where over 82% of children are military-connected, a need addressed by our full-time military counselor. We are seeking new partnerships to secure resources that will further support our students' unique needs and equip them with essential lifetime skills." Principal Sara Mendez 

Shelton Park Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, 1 Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
