About The Belair-Edison School

"The name of our charter operator is Afya, which is Health in Swahili. Our school works hard to ensure that our students are physically active. Being able to teach our youngest learners to ride bikes, is in alignment with our mission and commitment to our students. We are a Title I school, and many of our students do not have bikes at home. If they do have bikes, there are not many safe places for them to ride, which is why riding in school will be AMAZING for them." Principal, Diya S. 


The Belair-Edison School Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific Bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, one Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 metal rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
