Getting kids on bikes is money well spent, it can lead to a lifetime of transport and recreation options. I'm so glad this program is happening.

I was never allowed to learn how to ride a bike, and now I'm envious of all those people who love bike riding. Please wear your helmets because it really is always a "cool" thing to do.

About Witch Hazel Elementary

"Receiving support from the All Kids Bike program would have a significant impact on our school community. By introducing biking into our physical education program, we can provide students with an essential lifelong skill that promotes physical health, confidence, and independence. Access to bikes will allow us to create inclusive, engaging lessons that meet students at their developmental level while fostering joy in movement.

This opportunity would also help us expand our efforts to encourage active lifestyles beyond the classroom, positively influencing families and the broader community. With this program, we can ensure that every child has the chance to experience the fun and freedom of riding a bike, regardless of background or resources." PE Teacher, Antonio M.

Witch Hazel Elementary School is seeking support for a complete Kindergarten PE Program, including a fleet of 24 Strider AKB-Specific bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, 1 Strider 20-inch bike for teacher instruction, 2 steel rolling storage racks, and curriculum.
